At ISA, we believe that the performing arts provide students with an essential avenue for self-expression. They allow them to experience the aesthetic side of life and to develop their creativity and imagination. In addition, learning that takes place through the arts gives students opportunities to make choices, test ideas, compare and contrast information, deal with metaphors and symbols and develop communication skills. The performing arts provide a basis for many aspects of learning and a basis for pleasure and leisure for life.
