High School
High School begins with Grade 9. At the end of Grade 10 students sit for IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) exams. If certain criteria are met, this can be recognised in Bavaria as "Mittlere Reife". This year our first group of students completed these examinations with excellent results (the average was a B).
ISA is an authorised International Baccalaureate Diploma school. The IB Diploma is a rigorous and intellectually challenging two year programme which is recognised by universities world wide. In addition to the academic rigour of the programme students are required to complete a prescribed number of hours in community service and creative pursuits during their final two years of high school.
