Middle Years Programme

The Middle School at the International School Augsburg extends from Grade 6 to Grade 8. The following specialist subjects are offered: English, German, French, Spanish, ICT, Mathematics, Humanities (History & Geography), Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology), Art, Music, Drama, Physical Education.

In their studies, students are encouraged to explore the connections between subject areas, to investigate concepts and to develop a sense of who they are. Middle School teachers work together to ensure that the learning experiences of the IBPYP are built on, and that the Middle School educational programme supports students in developing the skills and attitudes necessary for success in High School.
