Grades 9 and 10: This is a two year course culminating in externally marked examinations. The teachers continually work to develop and enhance the content of these courses, so that deep understandings are developed.
Grades 11 and 12: The IB Diploma course is a rigorous and intellectually challenging two-year programme which is recognised by universities world-wide. In addition to the academic programme, students are required to engage in community service, physical activities and creative pursuits. In addition, they are required to complete a 4,000 word essay based on their research in an area of their own choosing. They must also attend a two-year Theory of Knowledge course and prepare a related paper.
High School students may take part in a range of sports, and ex-curricular activities including orchestra and community service. Leadership skills are developed through participation in Outdoor Education, Model United Nations, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and the Interact Club.
