New Campus
At ISA, we are building a future that enhances both education and environmental stewardship. Our new campus, set to open in the 2027-2028 school year, reflects our vision for a sustainable, learner-centered environment where innovation and community thrive.
Why a New Campus?
As ISA celebrates 20 years of growth, we have outgrown our current space. The new campus in Gersthofen provides an exciting opportunity to expand our facilities while staying true to our values.
Purpose-built and designed to reflect the best in 21st-century education, this campus will serve up to 550 students in a welcoming, caring atmosphere that promotes both well-being and sustainability.
A Campus for Learning, Community, and Sustainability
Our new campus is more than just a place to learn—it’s a hub for collaboration, creativity, and community. Central to the design is a shared commons, surrounded by flexible learning spaces that foster group collaboration and support a holistic approach to education. Key features include:
Innovative Learning Spaces
18,000 m² of flexible learning and outdoor spaces, with classrooms that adapt to group collaboration. Learning pods promote a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor learning, encouraging student engagement.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
Purpose-built labs, a double gym hall, and dedicated spaces for art, music, and performance. These facilities are designed to support students in discovering and developing their unique talents.
Sustainable Design
The campus will be carbon-neutral, featuring green roofs, solar panels, and energy-efficient technologies. These eco-friendly initiatives reflect our commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation.
Building for a Sustainable Future
Our campus is designed to be carbon-neutral, leading the way in sustainable architecture. With solar panels, green roofs, and energy-efficient building techniques, we are committed to minimising our environmental impact. This campus is not only a space for students to learn but a model for sustainability in our region.
By incorporating renewable energy and using environmentally friendly construction materials, we are building a future where education and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. Students will experience firsthand how sustainability is integrated into every aspect of their learning environment, preparing them to be responsible, forward-thinking global citizens.
A Hub for Students and the Community
The new ISA campus, located at Schubertstraße 68, 86368 Gersthofen, is designed to connect with the wider community. It’s easily accessible by public transport, with trains and buses from Augsburg and Gersthofen.
We’ve also planned for many bike riders, offering covered bike parking and a bike repair station.
Enhancing Student Well-Being and Engagement
Our new campus is designed with student well-being at its core. Bright, open spaces filled with natural light and ventilation create an inviting atmosphere that promotes focus and calm.
The seamless integration of indoor and outdoor learning areas encourages movement and interaction, supporting both mental and physical health.
Additionally, age-appropriate recreational spaces and outdoor play areas allow students to relax, explore, and stay active, all contributing to a well-rounded, engaging learning environment that fosters personal growth.
Built to Support Our Educational Vision
The new campus fully supports ISA’s philosophy of Learning the ISA Way, with a focus on community, innovation, and flexibility. From purpose-built spaces to adaptable learning environments, every aspect of the design encourages students to discover and develop their talents.
What’s Next?
As we move forward with construction, we will keep our community updated. The new ISA campus will be a place where innovation, sustainability, and a strong sense of community come together to support the next generation of learners. We look forward to welcoming you in 2027-2028!
