Leadership & Service

At ISA, leadership and service are not just concepts; they are a way of life. Our students are encouraged to step up, take initiative, and make a meaningful difference in the world around them. Through our Leadership & Service programmes, we cultivate a spirit of responsibility, empathy, and action.

CAS Programme

For our high school students, the Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) programme is an integral part of the IB curriculum. Students in Grades 11 and 12 are required to complete approximately 150 hours across these areas, embodying the IB mission to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Middle School students can also participate in CAS through the ‘Create, Act, Serve’ clubs. These clubs provide younger students with the opportunity to choose activities that align with their interests while fostering a commitment to service.

Model United Nations

At ISA, Model United Nations (MUN) plays a significant role in developing leadership skills, global awareness, and diplomacy. Students engage in debates, represent countries, and find solutions to global issues, mirroring the real-world work of the United Nations. MUN conferences also provide opportunities for students to collaborate with peers from around the world.

Leadership Opportunities

ISA students are empowered to lead. From the annual yearbook committee to the 'Voices of ISA' (student council), and from the Interact Club to various theme events, students have numerous avenues to express their ideas and drive positive change. Additionally, senior athletes often mentor younger students, sharing their expertise and building a supportive community.

Looking Ahead

As part of our ongoing commitment to service, ISA is exploring new partnerships, such as with the Patrizia Foundation, to expand our impact and provide more opportunities for our students to give back.
