Lower school - ages 3 to 11

The curricular framework is that of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. In addition ISA is recognised as a Bavarian 'Ersatzschule'.

Upper school - ages 11 to 19

There are three curricular frameworks:
 
The Middle School Programme
 
The International Certificate of Secondary Education (Mittlere Reife equivalent)
 
The International Baccalaureate Diploma (allgemeine Hochschulreife)
English is our 'shared language' and the language of instruction. All students learn our host country language, German. From Grade 7 students can learn Spanish as a foreign language. We have a diverse mother-tongue programme currently supporting 10 home languages.
